Physics question of huge annoyance.....

The question reads:
An object moves with constant acceleration in a straight line motion. Which of the following statements is FALSE.
A) the object's velocity changes at the same rate.
B) the object's velocity versus time graph has a constant slope.
C) the object's average velocity during any time interval is the arithmetic average of the velocities at the beginning and at the end.
D) the objects average velocity changes at the same rate.
E) the object's speed changes at the same rate.

Please answer and explain!

I read it wrong -- I worked two jobs today and I had three things going on at once when I looked at it.

I would have had to listen to the way your teacher talks in class to get a understand of how his thinking works.

if something never changes (is constant) do we say that it changes but that the value of the change is zero?

Or would he shake his head and say, if something doesn't change, you can't talk about the change?

c is false the average of any 2 sections is greater then then the section before it

can test it using any values I just used 1-9 as a value for simplicity

C is tricky because if you add a few words at the end, "of the time interval" then it is correct.

It isn't clear to me what is meant by beginning and end...

Possibly you were thinking this too?

pick any part say it starts at 4 and ends at 8 the average of 4 and 8 are 6 where the average of a sector between them say 5 and 6 are 5.5 or a larger sector like 4though 6 the average is 5 as long as the speed constantly increases the average of start and finish will never be the same as the sectors between them
