A Pirate Missing In Action

Somewhere around 5pm today, I received a runtime error. Groan and sigh, log back in, all is well. Wrong.


Instead of having a full four pirates in the account, now there is only 3. Dot appears to have wandered off somewhere. She still exists - i'm certain, as she still shows in the guild. Correct me if i'm wrong, that means she is somewhere - right?

I used the email form to contact POTCO.

Can I get her back? Any idea on how long it would take?


I suppose I should be thankful it wasn't Nikki. Same goes for it not getting my brothers pirate.

But why, oh why, couldn't it have eaten the level 2 instead.

While in guild chat I was told this happened to somebody else, a few months back. They didn't go looking for their pirate though, so I wasn't able to obtain any knowledge surrounding why this has happened.

Anybody got any ideas?

Wow, no idea, but I am sure this can be fixed, lets just pray Disney is all over it!

I have never heard of this happening before but it IS possible to restore a pirate if it was deleted. You just have to get in touch with disney and work it out with them. If you were looking at the guild list while online and she was still in it then yes she still exists, if your looking by leaderboards it takes it a day to catch up with reality. Not to worry im sure whatever happened will be resolved one way or another though.

Been mailing back and forth with POTCO - they needed a bunch of details and everything. Last they told me, they were looking into the error. That was ~3-4 hours ago.

Hopefully, that means they are working on restoring Dot.

I feel most of the answers i've been getting are cookie-cutter, and not helpful. So i'm still waiting.

Well, it is also very good news that they are doing something on the weekend's too!

Ive noticed that email doesnt do anything helpful when your trying to get something worked out. I would try calling them. 1-888-507-9507 is their number.
